New Production of Carmen in Warsaw

Leonardo Capalbo opens a new production of Carmen at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw June 7, 2018. As Don José, Leonardo has been hailed for his “towering performance,” noted for “packing a borderline dramatic tenor,” and described as “vulnerable, passionate and heartbreaking.” Directed by one of Poland’s most revered actors, Andrzej Chyra, and conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson, the production also stars mezzo-soprano Rinat Shaham in the title role. 

Performances run through June 17th.

Leonardo has previously sung Don José at Greek National Opera, The Grange Festival, Palm Beach Opera, and the Royal Symphonic Orchestra of Seville.
