Carmen Starring Leonardo Capalbo to Be Broadcast from Liceu in 2020

The Liceu Opera announced today the next installment of the outdoor series Liceu a la Fresca will be Carmen starring Varduhi Abrahamyan and Leonardo Capalbo. Carmen will be presented in the production by famed Catalan director Calixto Bieito and conducted by Patrick Summers on June 20, 2020. In 2019, the Liceu a la Fresca series presented live relays of opera to more than 250 public spaces throughout Catalonia, Spain, Andorra and southern France.
