Season Announcement: New Production of Rigoletto at Royal Swedish Opera

Leonardo Capalbo will be starring as the Duke in Rigoletto at the Royal Swedish Opera in the 2018-2019 season. The new production by Sofia Jupither also stars Karl-Magnus Fredriksson and Ida Falk Winland. Leonardo returns to the Royal Swedish Opera following his debut last season as Gustav III in Un ballo in maschera.

Performances run November 24, 2018 through February 11, 2019

Leonardo has previously sung the Duke at Oper Leipzig, L’Opéra de Montreal, L’Opéra de Toulon, L’Opéra Royal de Wallonie, and the Teatro Municipal of São Paulo, Brazil.
